Ronald Bailey At Reason: ‘Obama’s Climate Five-Year Plan’

If you haven’t figured it out by now:

‘Obama’s plan ambitiously seeks to control nearly every aspect of how Americans produce and consume energy. The goal is to cut the emissions of greenhouse gases and thus stop boosting the temperature of the earth. The actual result will be to infect the economy with the same sort of sclerosis seen in other centrally planned nations.’

I sensed something wasn’t right in the force back around Cash for Clunkers.  Why, it’s almost as if they want to control and plan the economy as well as outcomes:

    Another Obama folly. Cash for clunkers was another expensive give away that never should have happened, and an exercise in buying votes.

    Ron,

    I think it’s clear that he believes in socialized control of most sectors of our economy, which is what Obamacare is about too.
